1) Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

        The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will be credited with a good deed, and a good deed gets a ten-fold reward. I do not say that Alif-Lam-Mim is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter."

2) `A'isha reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (as saying):

        One who is proficient in the Qur'an is associated with the noble, upright, recording angels; and he who falters in it, and finds it difficult for him, will have two rewards.

And at the same time, studying to read while reading the words of the Quran, in the month of Ramadhan, which the good deeds get multiplied??? SUBHANALLAH! You do the math while Allah swt, the more merciful and most giving, bestow you with the barakah and good deeds for this effort!

This Iqra' Crash Course will cover the basic knowledge and rulings on the Quran so you will be able to have a kickstart on how to read it. 

It will cover topic such as:

• Prounciation of Hijaiyyah (Arabic) letters.

• Different Tashkeels and Vowels (Fathah, Kasroh Dhommah).

• Identifiying Joint Letters and how to read them.

• Different Vowels and Maads.

• Basic Tajwid such as Ikhfa’ Haqiqi, the different Idghom and other rulings of the Quran - in order to read the Quran correctly.

• Starting 17th February for the Muslimah Class, and 18th February for the Men Class - the class will run for 8 weeks and end before Eidul Fitr.
